BMIT:  Business & Information Technology (nonvocational).  Traditional classes providing basic Business knowledge and skills.

CTE PATHWAYS:  (Career & Technical Education) classes are non-traditional classes with hands-on learning real-life applications and expectations utilizing PBL (Project Based Learning).  All CTE courses are taught by certified staff. The goal of CTE education is to work cooperatively with the business community and provide essential business experiences, education, and training that will allow the student to have a greater chance of success in any career in this changing global society.  From acquiring skills and knowledge in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Ethics, emerging Technologies and work-based instruction to utilizing tools in a competitive global environment, analyzing dynamic, changing environments and formulating responsive, rational and proactive approaches to decision making, CTE Courses contribute to the Technical Honors diploma.

DUAL CREDIT:  In a joint venture with Ivy Tech, MHS offers college-level classes that are both rigorous and emulate the college course experience.  Upon successful completion, students are awarded FREE college credits and transcripts that may be transferred to the college of their choice.  The MHS Dual Credit Business Instructors have a master's degree and have been certified by Ivy Tech to teach these courses.
