Principal's Message
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students of Merrillville High School,
As we start the final stretch of the 2022-2023 school year, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the students, staff, parents and administrators as we strive to complete another successful school year at Merrillville High School. The building project for our new CTE Center is underway and proceeding in a timely manner. As we go through that process we will inform students, staff, and parents with any changes to the daily operations of MHS through daily announcements and email. At any time if you have a need for clarification, please call so we can provide the most accurate logistical updates.
We also ask parents to join teachers and administrators in encouraging students to stay focused academically right up to the last day of school. Parents are encouraged to monitor the academic progress of their children using Skyward, while stressing good study habits, homework completion, daily attendance, and responsible behavior. If we all work together and communicate effectively, our individual and school goals can be attained. Your support in these areas will insure a positive completion too a successful year.
Most Sincerely,
Michael Krutz
Principal
