Parents, your children attending Merrillville Intermediate School, Pierce Middle School or our Freshman Academy are eligible for free online 24/7 tutoring starting Sept. 1, 2021, with a service called Paper Tutoring. The Merrillville Community School Corporation is sponsoring this service, so there is no cost to you.
Your children can chat with real tutors using unlimited sessions about any subject. In addition, they can have essays reviewed in 24 hours or less for grammar, structure and style review.
These tutors are trained to support students' learning and adapt to each student's style and needs. All activity is monitored for service quality, academic integrity and general safety. Tutors can communicate in English, Spanish, French and Mandarin.
